Agile Project Manager – Client-Facing Web & App Projects.
About the Role
JEV Marketing is seeking an experienced, client-facing Agile Project Manager to oversee the design and development of web applications. This individual will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle using Agile best practices, serving as the primary liaison between the client, development team, and design resources.
The successful candidate will ensure that projects stay on track, stakeholders are kept informed, and Agile principles are upheld throughout delivery.
This job can be Remote, Contract or Full-Time, compensation is based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Translate client needs into clear user stories and feature backlogs for the development team.
- Coordinate tasks and timelines across developers, UI/UX designers, QA testers, and stakeholders.
- Maintain a product roadmap, manage sprint cycles, and oversee release planning.
- Monitor scope, timelines, budgets, and client expectations with transparency and consistency.
- Proactively identify risks and blockers, and resolve them promptly.
- Prepare status reports and host regular client-facing progress reviews.
- Ensure clear communication across time zones and team roles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a Project Manager in web/software development environments.
- Proven experience managing Agile projects with Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in client-facing roles.
- Strong experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Monday.com).
- Ability to translate client requirements into technical deliverables and user stories.
- Experience working with UI/UX teams and frontend/backend developers.
- Understanding of development strategy, SaaS workflows, and digital product delivery.
- Familiarity with QA workflows, staging environments, and testing cycles.
- Experience in agency or multi-client environments preferred.
Nice to Have
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design collaboration tools.
- Experience managing outsourced or distributed teams.
- Technical understanding of front-end/back-end development (HTML, PHP, JS, APIs, etc.).
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or mobile-first products is a plus.
